The California Supreme Court ruled today that a ballot-initiative to ban same-sex marriage does not constitute a "revision" to the California State Constitution, which would be unconstitutional, but rather an amendment to the Constitution.
Setting aside the legal issue for now, let me just state again, for the record, that banning same-sex marriage is wrong, discriminatory, foolish, and, ultimately, doomed to obsolescence. History will bear witness: this ban will not stand.
