A friend sends a link to the Persian version of the BBC where there's an incredible video of protesters forcing riot police to retreat:

If you know anyone in Iran, my thoughts go out to them; even if you don't lend a thought and a hope. I hesitate to hold out hope here, but this could be the start of something amazing. Or something horrifyingly brutal. Let's hope for the former.
